Renishaw laser melting (metal 3D printing)

Renishaw uses a process called metal powder bed fusion (or laser melting) to make various metals into intricately shaped parts, - both solid and hollow (with or without a mesh structure) - that can't be produced by traditional techniques such as casting, forging and machining. Renishaw provides decisive and optimized metal additive manufacturing solutions for a wide range of industrial and medical applications.

Renishaw employs metal power up to the standards of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) as molding materials, including AS10Mg, CoCr, In625+, In718, stainless steel 316L, maraging steel (1.2709), and Ti6A4V+.
